This meeting on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Jean Calvin’s birth aims at getting to know his person better and understanding his influence above all on the society of his time and up to the present day.
We shall take up an idea which will be developed at the Toulouse colloquium next November: “Is Calvin the founder of a civilization?”
